Applying to Buena Vista University's Master of Science in Education program is easy and convenient. Applicants are encouraged to submit materials as early as possible and no later than April 15th preceding the first summer course.
The Admissions Committee will review all applications and mail letters of acceptance by April 25th.
Required Application Materials - Deadline: April 15th.
- Completed Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited
institution.
- A minimum undergraduate college GPA of 2.75 (on a 4.0 scale).
- Submission of the online or print application form, including autobiographical
questions.
- Completion of the BVU Writing Assessment, an analytical writing
assignment (arranged by graduate office).
- Three letters of recommendation from professional associates (forms
provided online or by mail).
- Official transcripts from degree-granting institution and any graduate
transcripts.
- Access to minimum technology requirements, including e-mail, word
processing, and spreadsheets.
The Master of Science in Education program accepts applications submitted online or by mailing or faxing the printable forms. Applying online is the preferred method.
Online applications are submitted directly to the Graduate Program Office. There are no additional fees or special software required.
